Right, so the general consensus is to avoid!

Anyone got any other suggestions of what I can watch? I've been through breaking bad, walking dead, sos of anarchy, and want something new!

If you've seen Breaking Bad, go for Better Call Saul.

I've just watched Ep 1 of Narcos and it looks like a winner. I'll be chugging through the rest of the series over the next few days.

Previously I watched all 4 seasons of Veep. This is a great comedy.

Silison Valley's also good fun.

Fargo is great - just one series so far, but the new one starts soon.

Suits is quite gripping, but can be a bit samey.

Orange is the New Black? Homeland?

However, if you've never watched Arrested Development, then do so immediately, it's the best series ever. Ever.

OrangeITNB is quite good.

Homeland is good, season 2 and three dip a bit, but four was excellent, and could almost be a stand alone series.

Series 5 starts this week i think.

Watch series 1-4, then forget about it. Seriously, don't go anywhere near series six, or the final episode. As others have said, it was such a cop out.

someone on here said a few days ago that will some American Series you only have to watch the first and last episode, the rest it filler.
Hand of god being a perfect example of this....
But I still enjoyed that.

First series is excellent, promises so much. In the end it only delivers anger, rage, disappointment, wtf, etc.
The first series is worth watching as each episode is very well crafted.

But you have to stop there and pretend they didn't make any more. It's a bit like The Matrix and its sequels.

Of course, what was "Lost" on a lot of people was that it was a big joke on people who will watch something week after week in the hope of something good coming out of it.

What was really "Lost" was the weeks of those people's lives that they spent watching "Lost" instead of doing something better...

This is a joke (kind of smile ), in case I "Lost" you smile

I suspect the last episode was written by those who did the last episode of Falling Skies

Personally I thought Series 4 is where it picked up again, 3 is a bit of a stinker.

I still think Episode 5 S4 "The Constant" is one of the best things ever on TV. Such a well crafted episode.

Agreed. It's a classic.

I never watched past Season 4 so as far as I'm concerned it was all good, and I can accept the story as unfinished without any of the disappointments...

I watched Lost from beginning to end and enjoyed it. There were bits that annoyed me, bits that upset me and bits that completely infuriated me.

I need to find time to watch it again from stay to finish as I think you miss bits by watching it season by season.

No.

Unless you can stand two series where literally nothing of interest happens (writers strike) and an ending so infuriating you'll want to find the culprits, put them down a hatch, then drop a hydrogen bomb on it. I'm still cross about it 5 years on.

Seriously.

Avoid.

I really enjoyed Lost, it lost its way (crap pun intended) during seasons 2 and 3 but then for me it was brilliant until the last few episodes which were crap. These series dramas aren't all about the conclusion, you have to enjoy the journey - and even the crap seasons were worth putting up with for the later stuff.

Lost ruined my life. I'm still pissed off about it.

Think of it like the most beautiful girl in the world, your soul-mate, stringing you along for 5 years, occasionally giving you a handjob or a bit of dry humping action, only for her to finally admit being a bloke with a massive set of cock & balls.
