To be fair, a writer of Prison Break complaining about Lost not having much plot is a bit rich.Indie said:
A writer on Lost has revealed what many suspected, that there was never a plan for how to end the show and each season they would just think of "f*cked up things" to keep it ticking over.
Prison Break writer Nick Santora recalled the time his Lost writer friend (who he wouldn't name) came clean during a Nerdist Writer's Panel podcast, an admission he was pretty appalled by.
"We had an expression in the room which was 'No Polar Bears' - a reference to Lost," he explained.
"I had friends that were writing on Lost, I can’t say who they were. And I was watching football with one of them and I was telling them how much I loved the show…and I’m like, "How are you going to pay all this stuff off?" And he looked at me and goes, "We’re not." And I go, "What do you mean you’re not?" He said, "We literally just think of the weirdest most f*cked up thing and write it and we’re never going to pay it off." And I look at him and I’m like, "That’s such bullshi*t! You are completely f*cking with the audience."

First series is excellent, promises so much. In the end it only delivers anger, rage, disappointment, wtf, etc.
The first series is worth watching as each episode is very well crafted. But you have to stop there and pretend they didn't make any more. It's a bit like The Matrix and its sequels.
Love how most here say no, almost identical reasoning!
Lost was late 2004, so not sure how it started anything, it is preceded by much more spectacular serial dramas like The Sopranos, The Wire, BSG etc.
I think Lost was a main networks cashing in on the trend started by others...and ultimately failing by making something that was less that it constituent parts.
Never seen it, from the sounds it it, I never shall since there are loads of top rated shows pout there I have not seen.

I've watched it through twice. First time I was annoyed at unanswered questions. Second time I realised most of my questions had answers.
It was almost like reading a book due to the number of characters, quite enjoyed it
Which answers? It was almost like reading a book due to the number of characters, quite enjoyed it

Which questions?
Edit: Nevermind, thought you had some questions in mind but you haven't seen it. There were a few like the Hurley bird, lighthouses etc
Two people have said now there are answers to questions they thought were unanswered. So I may give it a view.Edit: Nevermind, thought you had some questions in mind but you haven't seen it. There were a few like the Hurley bird, lighthouses etc
