Ps that bit annoyed me anyway. Could have floored it taken out 80-90% on the spot then finished the last 1 or 2 off with rifles if needed.

You can't move a bike out the way like that in any sort of time and an armed group at this stage in the game survives out there by taking what's yours.

There is no way they would have stopped.

Even if they were mostly good outnumbering you with weapons might give them ideas. Why risk it, you have the advantage of kinetic energy and a big heavy truck.

A big heavy truck full of petrol though
Haha, just what I was thinking, a dirty great bomb!

They should have stopped earlier and just got the RPG out though.
I thought those other three used all the petrol to burn the woods by opening the tank and driving through just before hiding it. Either way very unlikely a bullet will ignite petrol.

Anyone know when season 6, episode 9 will be aired?

I've looked online but can't see anything obvious and don't fancy digging too much as I'll see spoilers.

Thanks. Pretty gutted this evening, watched the last 5 seasons on demand so not had to wait before.

I think Glenn's survival has annoyed me more than I thought, still haven't watched the mid season finale and I'm not in any real hurry to either!

It used to be for me. Not anymore. Not hooked on it like I was before. Very predictable now, almost becoming boring. They simply have not moved the story on at all; AMC seem to stick the formula of rinse and repeat. Still has exceptionally high viewing figures albeit less than Season 5 - looks like the series is finally on the wane and people will continue to gradually move away from it over the next season and a half.

And to think this season started so promisingly with the first couple of episodes.

Same, deleted it from my planner.

I don't mind cheesy rubbish if it's fun. Two of my favourite shows are Banshee and Strike Back. Both are terrible predictable rubbish. But they are fun to watch. TWD has never been fun, which worked for a while, but if it's not going to be fun it needs to be "realistic" which it's now lost totally for me. It's lost all credibility.

I don't mind the mid-season break, because Fargo covers MOnday nights admirably.

Once Fargo finishes however... frown

Series 2 of The Tunnel starts early next year, series 2 of Agent Carter in January, then part 2 of The Walking Dead series 6 starts again in February and runs out as Game of Thrones comes back smile

Yeah, only 2 more episodes of Fargo left now though.

I've been checking out some US TV series that haven't made it over here - At least not yet. Just started watching another AMC show called Halt & Catch Fire, which is set in 1983 in the early computer business. They've done 2 series already and are making a 3rd.

And C5 put the X-Files on at the same time, not so clever! Thank the Lord for TiVo!

The new X-Files series is only six episodes long though.

By the time that finishes, it will be just about the right point to jump into the remainder of the Walking Dead season to avoid all the boring filler episodes.
