I've only watched the first two episodes and think it's pretty good. Only question I do have is over the quality of the special effects: sometime they look pretty cheap. I also notice this on MR ROBOT which I enjoyed but did notice some poor special effects, particularly in large simulated crowd scenes.

Just finished it yesterday, very strange ending, making you wish things that are completely counter intuitive

I spotted that, but presume if the Nazis had invaded the USA, that the UK had capitulated too, so presumably the same engineers (Anglo/French) would have built Concorde, but it would have been under a Nazi regime...

Pleas NO-ONE POST UNHIDDEN SPOILERS as I've not seen it all yet!

I've got to episode 5. So far it is gripping. It is pretty unflinching in its depiction of the harshness of life under the Nazis and Japanese.

Seppuku as a coincidental detail was a bit of a shock.

Great show, I don't know were they will go if there is a 2nd season.

finding that Hitler needs to live to prevent WW3, and finding him fully competent, marbles intact, but still 100% evil, leaves you feeling conflicted, I'm pretty sure that is what they intended

Same here, i watched the first two last night, i will probably get through a couple more tonight. It has been good so far and i like the way it is shot, it adds to the mood considerably.

EP3 is a bit slow but smashes into 9000 rpm in 6th gear at the very end;)

So what is the deal with the engines on the 'Concorde' - they were shown as being very cold at the exhaust? For some reason I thought it was nuclear powered but looking again can't see why I thought this?

You're not wrong, now on the fifth episode, the pace is picking up.

Really enjoyed it, did a bit of binge watching last week and made it through all ten episodes.

Pretty grim in places but has potential to be a great bit of tv so long as it doesn't go all "lost" on us....

Seems like they are supposed to be rockets - I guess we have to suspend belief and assume they have some way of doing commercial passenger rocketry at a sensible and safe level.

Great show, but didn't warm to the lead actors, particularly Joe Blake.

Thoughts on the cars? No way all those 50s yank tanks would have been developed under austere Nazi rule. I think they should have used more German cars in the American Reich for realism.

If the 2nd season follows the books it will be strange.

Epic spoiler below, you have been warned !

It is yet another alternative 1962, this time USA vs the British empire in a cold war that goes hot, the Brits are fascists and win the war against the USA

Just done the first 3 episodes back to back, only tiredness has prevented me from continuing to binge watch. That's tomorrow evening's tv sorted anyway!

I'm not sure where I've watched up to. The last episode I watched was where they threw the 'bible' agent off the dam so which episode is that? I think it's towards the end of 4 but I'm not sure.
