I got Michael Ironside as a pointless answer (he's always a good one to remember for many films). No luck with any others.

Once Claire Williams said "octane" for the "words ending with -ane" round why didn't the others name the other alkanes? If octane only scored 5 points then surely pentane, hexane, heptane etc. would score extremely lowly.

I was surprised that the ex-drivers all chose 4 letter words- lane, mane and pane. I thought they'd be a lot more intelligent and be able to pick longer words. They go on aeroplanes frequently and no-one mentioned that!
