Just finished the Dr Steven Greer one, one hell of a whirlwind. Credit for Joe for stopping him to query things whenever possible, but there was so much stuff being spilled out it was difficult for him to stop and question one incredible revelation after another.

Now got lots of research to do, i.e. did Joe manage to get out into the desert with him.
Was that the guy with the 'alien body' ? If so, pretty sure Joe has never heard from him again and has even mentioned that it was all a bit dubious in later random podcasts.

Yes that's the one, would casually drop in that the US sent a nuke to the moon but it was intercepted by aliens, then quickly jump to the next revelation (he could summon alien craft and had an app that could help you too, only $6.99!) before Joe could even draw a breath.

It was a great listen, made my journey to work pass very quickly over the past few days!

Watched the paranormal one, very good, tried to watch the alien one...erm, not so much and I got bored with Billy bullst.

The Louie Simons one looks good, and I've got Jesse the body Ventura up next!

I'm torn with Jesse Ventura, i've heard him on here and other podcasts and whilst he's always an interesting listen his "I,I,I" "I've got all the answers" attitude sometimes grates on me. Oddly enough i was listening to an old episode from 2014 with Dan Carlin and Joe mentions JV and how he wasn't a fan of him.

I'm working my way through all the Dan Carlin and Sam Harris episodes, enjoy both guests although a Harris can go a little too deep for me to follow at times.

He's an old military guy, they all think they know best. biggrin
Who did like Jesse, Joe or Dan? And who is Dan Carlin?

I like Jesse, he speaks his mind. I don't think he's right a lot of the time, but he is one og those people who have been everywhere and done everything, and doesn't mind calling bullst on stuff like American sniper.

Joe wasn't a fan. He had come across him doing tv work years ago, and said he was a bit crazy and couldn't deal with him.

Dan Carlin is an amateur historian who has a great podcast called Hardcore History, well worth a listen. He always seems a down to earth level headed guy. Episode 847 (16th Sept 16) is his most recent appearance

What a fking great chat. One can tell that Joe is having a lil fun at times, 'I was gonna text you!', and Jesse is a cranky old guy now so doesn't get it, but man he has energy, funny when Joe has to tell him to calm down. Nice to hear the story on that lying piece of st sniper fella as well.
He knws his cars and bikes. The stuff on the Mongols was good.

Just finished the Jay Leno one, fantastic podcast. I downloaded it as I thought it would be a car one but that side of things was only briefly mentioned, however the discussion about his comedy work (which I had no idea about) over the years was brilliant.

I just listened to this and really enjoyed it - I like Louis anyway, and the topic was interesting too (all about his upcoming documentary on Scientology)

Well worth a listen! (Episode 835 by the way)

Ironically from what I've heard of the podcast so far, it's better than the film (which I watched last week, not great).

I've started the Louis Theroux (not Louie SImmons) one, it's very good so far.

Jesse's was very good, wish he'd run for POTUS now. biggrin

I thought it was quite a funny one, but I'm almost certain he lied about making all his money from poker. I agree he now plays poker with very rich friends/ billionaires for silly amounts of cash, but I'm pretty certain the cash came from his dads dodgy dealing from previous.

the best/highest stake poker players in the world have not even come close to winning the figures he claims to have won. and funnily enough, he never plays in the know high stakes games..... always just against his rich friends...... makes sure he doesn't actually loose any money, but looks good on instagram

I'm only aware of him from an advert for online bingo, and I have some vague idea he'd be a massive bellend.

Great Podcast yesterday morning when the election result was coming in. A bunch of comedians live on stage at the Comedy Store trying to breakdown each state vote as they come in, whilst getting very high and boozed up. Very funny podcast. I watched it live on YouTube, getting ready for work and was in floods of tears laughing, just listening back again now.

Bill Burr was on top form, did feel the women managed to suck the funny out of the room at times though! Listened to the episode with Bert Kreisher after this and Rogan said a few of the comics just walked on stage and weren't actually meant to be there.
