Chris Harris must modernise and up his game
Discussion
As with any initial plan, it changes once underway. It's off to a good start. Future tweaks will only improve it. (Optimism at its best) the original relaunch of the show wasn't expected to last at all. The guys had no clue what they were doing. James may replaced a presenter after one series. First stig left. Look how it worked out.

I don't see whats to moan at. We still have a Clarkson/Hammond/May, and now we have another Car show to enjoy.
There are 2 car based programs where there were once one. Its a win win. Even if its just to propel some of these presenters on to better things.
I'll reserve all judgment of the new TopGear until it airs. Until then, I don't understand the amount of moaning going on around the internet.

Already got prime so I'm happy.

I posted right near the beginning of this thread that I didn't think anyone was qualified to offer that kind of advice, especially when that advice basically amounted to "make your videos more appealing to teenagers" as though we didn't know about the TG gig at the time, I think most intelligent people could have guessed that CH's goals were somewhat loftier than becoming just another video blogger aimed at the ADH generation.OP: "Chris Harris must modernise and up his game"

What will really make PH explode over the next few months is what car CH will buy next with his new found earning power\status as TV celeb, how much he earns\pays for cars with even more fervour (always found that a bit weird) and loads more rabid fanboyism now that he has officially stepped it up a notch. Can't wait!

Chris clearly took onboard the OP's advice and look how quickly he's turned his life around. I hope he is grateful. OP: "Chris Harris must modernise and up his game"

Not diverse at all - nobody young and a single token woman (who can certainly drive but that doesn't redeem her TV persona which I find cringingly one dimensional) .Still , it's better than three tragically middle aged blokes I guess(and I speak as one myself). I don't regard anti - discrimination as a bad thing - I just think that it isn't 1975 any more and as women (for example ) drive cars, spend money and - dammit - can even vote there's nothing remotely wrong with reflecting half of our population. Maybe we will even get a woman in Number Ten next;oh hang on...
The ironic thing is that TG had a higher female audience than other car shows with female presenters.otolith said:

It's highly patrinising to women tofor people to think they cannot listen, relate to and enjoy male presenters. Likewise it is pretty patronising to male presenters to suggest they may not want or be able to relate to women. We're all human, well most of us anyway, and as far as cars go, a petrolhead is a petrolhead, full stop.DonkeyApple said:
