Just started watching this I’m on series 1 ep 2 - hope it’s worth it.
If you are watching on Amazon , then ,up to season 16 it is there to be seen , after that it is behind a paywall .£2.49 per episode or £49.80 for the series .
We binge watched last year during lockdown , and what was irritating , was a number of episodes were in 2 parts with the second and concluding part on NCIC LA , for which you would have to pay to watch. mad

Well the new series is now taking a new turn
One character left end of last series and now Mark Harmon has rested (at least) from the main cast it's starting to look like its near its end

Has not recovered from tony and Ziva leaving, ducky only part time and the replacement for Abbie did not gel with me.

When Abbie left because of allegedly not getting on with Gibbs because he brought his dog onto set the whole show deteriorated.

Now that he is retired in his house with a “dog” is this the same one who Abbie did not trust who now appears on the show in his house?

They are flogging a dead horse, needs retiring, sorry but it has had its day. Shame really I was a big fan in it’s heyday

The way the current season has started suggests they intend to either close things in S20 (which would also take the show to the 450 episodes) or refresh the show with an overhauled cast, now that Harmon has confirmed he has left, which is already in process with the introduction of Gary Cole & Katrina Law. Although they may want to continue until they hit 500 episodes as that is another mark that a lot of shows never reach.

It seems the pandemic had an effect on a number of actors, including Wickersham that cited one of her reasons for leaving as wanting to do other projects and start a family with her current partner and the filming schedules wouldn't fit, as both Barret Foa & Renee Felice Smith also asked to leave after the most recent season of LA as they wanted to focus on other work / projects and have now been written out.

In addition to that New Orleans finally came to an end after S7 although the launch of the Hawaii spin off has taken its place.
