Ralf Little was on Six Nations Sin Bin yesterday. Wow that was a terrible show! I watched it, (well half before I couldn’t stand much more), to see what Ralf Little had to say.

Whilst I understand that he is an actor he did seem genuinely happy to be out there filming many months of the year so it doesn’t sound like he wants to stop - at least not for the same reasons most of the others have i.e. it’s a big commitment to so many months overseas.

It could be that he has other reasons, the show wants a new detective, (he would be the longest running if he does another series), or he will be there again next year - if there is another series.

I have to admit that we have a vested interest in there being another series, (other than enjoying it), as we are going to Deshaies in June for a few weeks and hoped it might co-incide with some filming wink

Really enjoyed last night episode,
Same. Looking forward to part 2. My hunch is that his "mate" is setting him up to try and replace him.

Ooh the long game - like it. So, Neville's former colleague Andrew from Manchester is in cahoots with Sophie to set up Neville with the murder of the criminologist, because Andrew had a grudge against the criminologist and was also jealous of Neville's life on the island. Sophie has been helping to steal Neville's phone and let Andrew know his whereabouts so that they could stitch him up. It was all going swimmingly until Marlon smells a rat and figures out what has happened, solves the case and wins back the trust of the Commissioner. Neville is unlucky in love again as his girlfriend and his former colleague are lead away to the slammer. Meanwhile, Robert Webb sits in a car and broods some more, leaving the audience wondering if there is still a lose end to be tied up....

Interestingly Robert Webb is listed as a guest star for this Fridays episode.

The organised crime boss on the island is actually,

Catherine. She engineers the departure of every DI when they get too close to her operation. Becoming Mayor cemented her nefarious control of everything and her tentacles reach every part of the island. Even Selwyn is bought off and blackmailed.

Sophie has clearly been planted by her to find out how much he knows. Having discovered he was on to her he had to be framed and discredited. Only when we reach the final episode of the final series will she be caught and will depart with an over the shoulder French accented retort about stupid rosbif policemen!

Another piece of fine eye candy that won't be on the show again then frown. I did think it was a stretch for Nev to have bagged himself someone quite so hot though. Poor guy can't catch a break!

We also had Sophie as the baddie, but then 2nd guessed it by saying they wouldn’t be that mean to Nev would they?!
Yes, yes it seems they would be that cruel to the poor sod. Bit harsh on the character of Nev to shaft him like that. Wasn’t even a soft shafting either, he was given a right kicking!

I can't see them having another bloke in charge myself. They are probably lining up a woman chief to take over. I don't know who this Jaye Griffiths is but he doesn't register with me much
Jaye Griffiths was the female cop that was in last night's episode leading the investigation into Neville.

If true, shame RL is leaving.

As to a successor, to be on message, surely the new DI must be a politically correct unicorn

Mildly irritated that his personnel file said "Manchester Met Police" on it, instead of spelling out "Metropolitan" in full. Also weird that at one point they go to his shack to look for a knife and it's all closed up, but a bit later she's packing all her stuff away suggesting she was staying there.

Anyone else wondering how on earth they thought "fair hair" described the wife of the guy who was murdered last week?
