Last night's episode was just awful.
A surprisingly dark motive for the crime this week. We want our murders to be lighthearted biggrin

biglaughbiglaughbiglaugh Yes, I was thinking the same. Of course at the end they just had to have the helpline number with the announcement 'if you've been affected by the issues raised in tonight's programme'.

It’s so bad, it’s good, I feel compelled to watch it; could be an age thing.
Agreed and it's always interesting to see which old actors fancied a paid holiday in the Caribbean.
Gordon Kennedy this weekand Hayley Mills last week.

They managed to squeeze in "it just doesn't make sense " again.
Someone says it most weeks , have to watch it when it's on. its addictive, and dreaming of lovely locations at this time of year.

My family members are fans of this. I cannot watch it. There's something odd going on with the light, and it seems a bit weird.

For now, the beaches, the illusion of a Caribbean paradise at this godawful time of the year, outweighs the need for The Usual Suspects.

At the conclusion of every episode i have ever seen, if the guilty party just says nothing there is absolutely no evidence agAinst them.
Other than occasional circumstantial.

You've expertly spotted the single, only hole in the "plot".

Interesting last few weeks in Saint Marie

Marlon Pryce has left, brief return of Sergeant JP Hooper and last night saw the return of Dwayne Myers, the TV guides were saying earlier that next week is the last appearance for Florence and Neville, however they have now removed the spoiler, will be interesting if Neville goes as to who replaces him also I believe he signed up for another 3 years so seems strange.

I expect he's intending to go, and then changes his mind now that Florence is back on the scene, given that the point of going is to try to improve his love life. I also recall reading that he's signed up for a longer period than we've had so far, so it's unlikely he'll go at this point, and it made his announcement about going travelling a bit daft IMO.

The show has already jumped the shark, so Ralf may as well go travelling, to Cornwall, and bump into both Kris, and Aidan, why not.

Meanwhile, Rosie Jones is the new DI biggrin

Fun fact about last night's episode is that Ian Hislops son, Will Hislop, was one of the cast members.

The BBC have confirmed that Ralf has left. I thought he was signed up for another series?

It was actually a really good last episode.

but it was obvious what was going to happen as Florence had only signed up as a guest role plus having two DS's would never have worked, I wonder who will replace him

Why the "reveal spoiler"?

So as to not ruin it for anyone who has not watched it yet.
