On what grounds did the police 'confiscate' the 50 grands that the victim had inexplicably paid to get off the aeroplane?

As it was stolen money (hence them all lying about it).

Yep-my take too

I'm glad Ralf has gone as well - Personally I think his 'character' ran its course some time ago.

Agreed and will be interesting as to who replaces him.

Strange that he signed up to do 3 more series yet only did the one.

All The cabin crew had to be in on it, after taxing out with checks complete if the passenger door was opened it would give a warning light on the dash, especially if it was a pressurised aircraft.

From whom? The chap that it was taken from hadn't reported it, he claimed only £100k was taken.

I think you might be reading too much into the implausible plot of a low budget television show.

Neville had worked out that there was more than £100k in there and that the plane had to have been paid off. However, I was wondering how the murder victim knew the combination to the safe.

Coincidentally, whilst looking for something else, I found this scary screenshot I took a couple of years ago.

What I don't get is how the gun got on the aircraft. Did I miss where the gun was handed over to the pilot to hide ?

If no-one reported it stolen, where should it be returned to?

The guy that shot the other guy hid it on the plane. He knew where the smuggling box was because he'd previously used the plane to smuggle stuff.

A bit of a poor ending IMO, but that was mainly because I'd read that he'd signed up for a few more series and so I was expecting a big turnaround.

What makes you think it's low budget? It will be up near the top of cost-per-hour beaten only by big period costume dramas.

Is it just that I've got a new higher resolution TV, or does it look like a lot more has been done with greenscreens this series, there's loads of times the backgrounds look rather fake.

To the people from whom the police took it. The two aircrew and the French passenger.

Maybe it's like on Traffic Cops, pull someone over with a load of cash they can't account for / prove the source of, seize it because it must be dodgy.

I may be demonstrating that I watch it mostly for the scenery on cold wet winter evenings rather than in-depth study of the story line.

There weren't any cabin crew (you don't need them on an aircraft that size). It was the first officer (co-pilot) who came back to open the door.

There's still a lot of location work - all of the lead actors have given up because they were having to spend months on Guadaloupe. They shoot from May to October so that's six months location work each year.

I believe the reason for that will be announced soon
I believe that Ralf Little will soon be announced as the next James Bond. I have it on very good authority.

Apparently betting is for Simon Bird or Diane Morgan as the next DI. Is it a woman's turn?
I've also seen Bill Nighy's name mentioned!
