Well, that's quite enough for today.

Let's go and have a beer and take a fresh look at it in the morning.

Florence yikes

At least Patrice was found four minutes and thirty seven seconds in so that's running true to form.

Every time Jack said "Rosalie Island" my brain automatically substituted Craggy Island, most annoying...

I got the impression Jack is on his way at the end of this series too...

Too many changes coming for me. I didn't care about DJJ going, the new girl clamed down a bit so was acceptable but now Florence is out & Ardal may be going there's little left to hang on to. I'd prefer they keep the cast & do something inventive with the format but I suppose the lazy way out is to keep the formula (as has been pointed out death scheduled @ 4 minutes in) & plug in new actors.

I wonder if they realise we watch the characters, not the plots.

Are you talking about Ruby if so yes she's annoying, but Joséphine Jobert who plays Florence Cassell is STUNNING!!!!!
Ah, but not a patch on the original Sara Martins:

Who was in Father Brown recently rolling around in a sheet cloud9

I think Florence's bloke is a wrong'un though.
Stunningly Beautiful!! She's not overtly sexy, naturally and quietly sexy, if you know what I mean.

Have watched from the start and it is just a gentle, funny, easy watch. Think I liked Kris Marshall best but then he does share my name! spells it wrong though wink

If that's a reference to the "about time you started looking for a replacement" line in the flash-forward sequence, it might refer to a replacement for Florence. Who might be the IA officer, in the trailer.

Excellent health care in St Marie.

Shot in the stomach and you’re walking around and back to work three days later.

The NHS could learn a thing or two from them...

And didn't she get shot in her left side, but keep holding her right in the 'Poirot' sequence at the end?

I enjoyed the earlier series but the only regular, original cast members left are: the commissioner & the geko.

Seems to have lost something a certain... je ne sais quoi

It seemed not to be explained

Agreed, they ran out of ideas a long time ago.

Death in Paradise - Ralf Little, presumably.

I thought it was OK, it's a decent enough show to watch in the cold wet wintery bits of the year.
