I doubt that the arena is totally sound-proof. if the crowd was as manic as they sound on the broadcast, you would hear a hint of it inside, surely. Also, if you listen to a few fights, they keep making the same 'Oooh' sounds and chanting on all of them.

I am sure the crowd are wound up and cheering ( I have been to the touring live show over here ) But the broadcast audience sound on those clips is as fake as on the Got Talent / X-Factor shows.
