Still no air date, but the website has got the heats and robots on it now. Razer, Terrorhurtz, Storm 2 and Behemoth are all in it . http://www.robotwars.tv/competitors/

They don't seemed to have changed much in the years off air, I think they should drop the house robots and use the US Battlebots rules instead.FourWheelDrift said:
Mionotaur looks small enough and maybe light enough to compete. What it did to Blacksmith was better than anything Hypnodisc achieved in reverse engineering another robot.
All the robots in BB are licensed/locked to that competition only, unfortunately we won't see any of them in RW.The Americans have always been ahead with the robots, even back in the original series so it's probably a good job they can't- they'd destroy the UK competition.
We now have a 'later this month's for when it's on. http://www.independent.co.uk/arts-entertainment/tv...
Not sure why but I've got a feeling it will be the Sunday evening 'Top Gear' slot once the tennis and football is finished.

Thanks for sharing that, grinning like a loon at that.Reading this thread set me off on a huge nostalgia hunt, cannot believe it ended 15 years ago. Have to say Philippa Forrester and Julia Reed in leather trousers were particular stand out memories!
One thing I was shocked to find out was that David Gribble, the driver of Pussycat was killed at the age of 17 in a motorcycle accident in 2001.
