I don't know why people both building a robot with anything other than a high speed rotating weapon. It's by far the most effective solution.

That or a wedge with a powerful flipper. At least people are trying different things though for a bit of variety smile

The flippers have been very good traditionally too, that seems to be the main 2 design options.

The flippers were more effective when you could get flipped out of the arena. That isn't possible now.

It is still possible, it just more difficult as only a small part of the arena wall is uncovered
