Really impressed by the aggressive driving of Eruption there.

There's probably an audience member with a lump of iron in the head now.

They are wrecking the place! Time for a total refresh of the arena and rules, a lot more like Battlebots is needed.

When the arena walls and floor are less armoured than the robots that get trashed you know something has to be improved.

How does the Battlebots arena compare in terms of materials/construction? The commentators/teams only seem to be behind a single pane of glass!

Thicker bullet proof polycarbonate and thicker welded steel floor?

Doesn't the Robot Wars area have an area of only a single layer of protection where the contestants come in, where the little wall that flippers can throw robots out? There's a section out on all 4 sides by the looks of it.

It needs Eruption to get through, they are the only ones with a chance against Carbide. They will need some luck though.

Is there anyway to stop a spinner like Carbide unless they take they effectively 'suicide'?

I know a team in Battlebots used a net to stop a similar robot but I guess that's banned here?

Pity Eruption's wheel got stuck early on, but otherwise an impressively durable bot.

Brilliant episode, the best ever I think. The power is just incredible, 8mm of toughened steel sliced like butter.

The blonde in the audience was the icing on the cake cloud9

It complies with the same rules as everybody else so it's beatable. Would take the right combination of talent, money and luck though.

Great episode and series. Carbide is a beast. Eruption did exceptionally well. A well designed flipper with armour strong enough to withstand the impacts and maybe clever design to deflect the spinners away... could maybe win?

Nets are banned in Battlebots as well.

Next series of robot wars entanglement devices are allowed- could be a good counter to spinners.

Great final, thoroughly enjoyed every fight. Carbide was a beast!

A pusher style robot with a big thick shield on the front can do it

unfortunately pushers seems to be "banned" by the producers for being boring.
