When the arena walls and floor are less armoured than the robots that get trashed you know something has to be improved.
How does the Battlebots arena compare in terms of materials/construction? The commentators/teams only seem to be behind a single pane of glass!Thicker bullet proof polycarbonate and thicker welded steel floor?
Doesn't the Robot Wars area have an area of only a single layer of protection where the contestants come in, where the little wall that flippers can throw robots out? There's a section out on all 4 sides by the looks of it.

Is there anyway to stop a spinner like Carbide unless they take they effectively 'suicide'?
I know a team in Battlebots used a net to stop a similar robot but I guess that's banned here?
It complies with the same rules as everybody else so it's beatable. Would take the right combination of talent, money and luck though.I know a team in Battlebots used a net to stop a similar robot but I guess that's banned here?

unfortunately pushers seems to be "banned" by the producers for being boring.
