Good stuff.

Season 2 really was excellent, dare I say better than the last GoT.

Is this a good series? It doesn't seem to get rated anywhere near as high as GoT.

I was going to start watching it recently but got sidetracked by Fargo and then Mr Robot. hehe

The first two episodes of Season 3 have been great - and Titus Pullo (Ray Stevenson) as Blackbeard, too!

ETA - the whole ship in the storm scenes were done particularly well, quite impressed.

I guess it depends on what you expect or want. Its good but to me, its missing something that i cant figure out what to make it great or maybe i just want some more swashbuckling/pirating than some of the love story background bullst

A fantastic ending to series 3, if you've missed out on Black Sails I'd definitely recommend it.

Episode 10 is available tomorrow on Amazon, looking forward to it. I assume Blackbeard's gonna save the day somehow.

(Wasn't available until Monday this week, and not the usual Sunday, wasn't happy!)

Such a brilliant show, not many people seem to know about it which is a surprise considering how big the budget looks to be.

I won't spoil it but the ending was as good as it could be to set up series 4 which is confirmed on IMDB for next year.

I found this in January (following a reccomendation on PH) and just watched the final esisode in Series 3 yesterday.

Great acting, character developments and effects - each series has been better than the last. Also can't see why so few people seem to rate it.

I only see this on the History channel, so just 3 episodes into season 2, but really enjoy it. smile

Watched the first four episodes of series one and gave up. It was like they were trying to make Pirates of the Caribbean for adults. Didn't enjoy it at all.

I nearly did the same, give up half way through Season 1. But I stuck with it and it all comes good towards the end of the Season.

Season 2 is on another level though.

Haven't started Season 3 yet as I've been waiting for the complete Season to be available to stream in case I want to binge.

I like it a lot, but admit that I do wish they'd cut down on the talking slightly - some of the conversations are very long and needlessly drawn out.

The action however, is first class. Just wish there was more of that and less chatter. Most are pirates with little to no education in real life, they wouldn't understand half the stuff they're scripted to spout!

Just on episode 1 of season 3, what an amazing show! I wasn't convinced on the very first episode, but I'm really glad I persisted with it.

Along with Vikings and Man in the High Castle, Amazon Prime is seriously proving its worth at the moment. Like Vikings, I love that you can't second guess what's going to happen and the plot changes. Incredibly well made too!

So finally got to start watching this, thought it might be something my young kids would like too.

Er no, basically this pirate themed soft porn. hehe

What a great series though.

I started watching it abroad where it's on Netflix but oddly Amazon here.
