Just watching this for the first time...it's quite brutal and prob the best 'reality TV' I've ever seen. Fair play to them

Watched previous seasons of the show and it's good. Some good challenges and incidents.

I doubt they'll get through the week without someone injuring themselves as usual.

The skeleton was quite amusing, the difference between being scared out your wits, eyes closed all the way down and just hanging on for good luck and being up for it and supposedly the best they had seen......a whole second! hehe

so disappointing.

last year they had to do a proper jump, no air bag, so there was always the hope that there would be a good injury.

maybe their insurance is too much this year

I thought they were using the airbag because the wind in the evening meant they couldn't jump. I assumed the airbag was for practice.

The attrition rate on this programme is usually horrific. The girl from Eastenders has a cast already, and Rebecca Adlingtin gas her right arm in a sling. By the end of day 1!

The money the celebs get must be good as looking at previous years some contestants have had serious injuries.

The air jump things with the airbag is just for 2 live episodes. The rest will be proper jumps off the ski jump.

This show is great brain out telly, love it.

Also watched the opener last night.

Very different approaches to the Skeleton.

Fun, reality TV.

The air bag jump is always used, hence Arg wanting to beat the record.

Interesting that they've already injured two contestants, although they haven't had anyone injured badly enough to leave before the first show as in previous years.

Was it a weekly format show last year, could have sworn it was every night?

It was every night before. I guess they realise that they'll need time to recover from their injuries.

Oops, my mistake.

Just remembered it being one of the ones who would have gravity on their side.

I think it must be by far the most dangerous show

Good job the professional athletes that are taking part in this have retired, a lot of potential career ending injury's could happen.

There was some good races last year. It wasn't as good this year. It looks great fun all the same.

Some amount on injuries this week. I do enjoy the show, but it's hard for them to carry on with so many people getting hurt. It most cost a fair amount to pay compensation.
