Here is the new guy's showreel. Not terrible, I'm sure with coaching and a decent crew around him he'll do OK

Seems way too many presenters to me. Its harder to gel with a big team, and the show might feel a but segmented if they are all doing different parts, especially if some of the presenters are not in all shows.

Does anyone know if Eddie Jordan used to run an F1 team? He keeps it very quiet, and I feel certain that he won't mention it in every sentence all the time on and on endlessly.

If anyone could put my mind at rest, I'd be grateful. Thanks in advance.

Actually, I quite like his style, going by that. A bit cheeky chappy; seems to have a good sense of humour. Looks promising.

But not sure about Eddie "I ran an F1 team" Jordon though... He has the presence of a dead squid.

EJ was enough to put me off watching F1 on the BBC. I hope he's not a "core" host, as that'll be enough to put me off watching.

Wait. Is that confirmation he ran an F1 team? I''m still unsure. You'd think if he did he'd literally never shut up about it, but nary a word. He's too modest, that's his problem. Humble, almost. Come on Eddie, the people really want to know!

Thanks for the tip about google. I've bookmarked it now as it appears to be quite a useful site for googling things.

Could you *be* any more pedantic ?

Rumour has it that Lisa Kudrow will be doing a special feature on exhaust gas technology at some point.

I don't see Top Gear being the success that it was. I wouldn't be surprised if they only do a series and the show is axed. If I was Chris Harris I wouldn't have got involved, he does well with his YouTube channel, and he is in a different league to that of the celebrity presenters. People will vote with their remotes on this.
