Supercar Megabuild on Nat Geo.
Discussion
I watched it as I recognised Ralph Hosier's name from various car magazines.
The show would have been a lot better without the whole "Mr Khan" setup, if he wants to build himself a part then why not just have him as a Project Manager setting out the requirements and budget rather than a ridiculous pretend tyrant and Design Genius.
The mechanical changes were fairly interesting (if straight forward) and it was good that they quantified the Before and After track times (if they were real times).
I assume the bodykit (just a front bumper, grille and silly wing wasn't it?) and wheels were just Off The Shelf from Khan's warehouse. It would have looked better without the wing though.

That was an hour of my life I'm never going to get back!
Had high hopes for the show but was really disappointed with it. Citizen Khan is a total wand but then again, so are the two numpties doing the work. FFS, who wears a shirt and tie when they are working on a car exhaust and brake system.
I'd rather watch Mike fking Brewer than this pile of ste and that's saying something.

I have read Ralph Hosier's copy in motoring magazines and he seems to know what he's on about so I was disappointed that "Supercar Megabuild" was such a load of crap.
The programme could do without Afzal Kahn in my opinion. His cartoonish character just detracted from the interest. I wasn't convinced that his styling addenda had a positive benefit on the car's lap time either. The rear wing was at a crazy angle and the suspension seemed to have been set up with reference purely to aesthetics rather than performance.
I'd have liked to see a before/after rolling road test too.
