First Freeview channel 71, now this. At the risk of 2+2=5 I get the feeling they might not be paying on time...

For the moment it can be added manually via the Services, Options, Add Channels menu with the following details : 11.082 H, 22.000, 5/6, DVB-S, QPSK.
Yay that works. Thankyou.

Stored in "other channels" so as said earlier, box says me no recordy. (Sigh)

Just found this on motors TV website, so now lost to freeview streaming as well.

DEAR MOTORS TV UK VIEWERS,
MOTORS TV UK IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE ON FREEVIEW (CHANNEL 71) AND YOUVIEW (CHANNEL 240). WE EXPERIMENTED WITH THESE PLATFORMS TO PROVIDE ADDITIONAL AVENUES FOR SHOWING MOTORS TV COVERAGE IN BRITAIN. HOWEVER, FOR VARIOUS REASONS THIS SUPPLEMENTARY SERVICE DID NOT MATCH EITHER OUR EXPECTATIONS OR THOSE OF OUR PARTNERS, WHICH LED US TO CEASE BROADCASTING MOTORS TV UK ON THESE PLATFORMS.
MOTORS TV UK REMAINS AVAILABLE TO VIEWERS THROUGHOUT COUNTRY ON SKY CHANNEL 447 AND VIRGIN MEDIA CHANNEL 545.

"Dear Motors TV viewers, we experimented with a couple of channels which most viewers weren't able to receive. As a result, we didn't get enough extra viewers to be able to raise our advertising charges. Bye bye. We hate you all - and remember, money is how we keep score in motorsport."

Yes that's how I understand it, I won't be pressured into buying Satellite I don't want just for 1 channel, so goodbye motors.

I wouldn't be surprised to see it completely disappear from all services to be honest - It would be a crying shame for all the smaller UK series it shows and those who get extra sponsorship because they are on TV.

Yes you could be right, either revenue is dropping or never ever achieved expectations. I've spoken to friends who are satellite addicted & like motorsport, they say 'in the good old days' Motors TV showed much more live stuff & all the adverts were motorsport related, now there are, more repeats, more frequent ad. breaks selling general mainstream old took, so something started to change a long time ago. Anyway youtube show a fair amount of live motor racing on weekends, & looking around at official racing web sites some have subscription per race for about £5 pick what you want if not YT. free so cheaper over a month than satellite.

Thanks for finding that. I was wondering.

Good old ITV then, supporting BTCC, Formula E and BRDC F4 on ITV4
