whats the story with you being there?
Worked out there for about 4 years on the project to build a new structure over the damaged reactor/sarcophagus - called the New Safe Confinement. Picture was from just before I came home, so when we'd re-classified the area and could wear relatively normal clothing and not need respiratory protection to be stood where I was.
> Chernobyl?
Well, I've never been there...
A bit OT, but one om my favourite books is "Wolves Eat Dogs" by Martin Cruz Smith (Gorky Park, etc) - It's largely set in the 'dead zone' around Chernobyl and has a Litvinenko-style asassination - but written several years before the real one!
Anyhoo, here's a new one.

I'd say yes to Anglesey and most likely this place: Bryn Celli Ddu

Thought I'd been there at some point in the recent past but must have seen it on TV or something. Only time I've been to Anglesey recently was to get the Holyhead - Dublin ferry.
