Has anyone else watched the latest Julia Davis effort, 'Camping'?

Watched 4 and 5 last night, and yeah, the part with Shun at Carol & Caroll was brilliant.

Hopefully it'll receive the recognition it deserves come awards season.

I watched Black Pond today which was co written and co directed by Will Sharpe, he also plays a character in it. Good film, as odd as I expected it to be but not as dark as Flowers. I'll probably end up rewatching Flowers soon, it's just too damn good.

Not sure how it's listed on All4, but the first two were shown together as an hour long programme, so Friday's might be no.5, not no.6.

Very rare to see such beautifully done plays such as this anymore.

Bizarre little series. My first thoughts in Ep 1 were "League of Gentlemen". It then became odder & odder towards the middle of the series, with "WTF"s outweighing the laugh out loud moments (although there were a good few), and then seemed to collapse into maudlin tragi-comedy-drama at the close.

Rather excited for series 2. Series 1 was by far one of the best things I have ever watched. So brilliantly dark but wonderful.

I met Julian Barratt after a showing of his film Mindhorn towards the end of 2016 and had a quick chat about Flowers. He mentioned it was going to be coming back for a second series back then. It’s taken some time!
