So what order would you put based on the marvel characters relative power we have seen so far.
eg obviously 1v1 the hulk would kill hawkeye. Top to bottom or even divisions of the super enhanced vs the enhanced through tech.

Trouble is, their powers vary depending on the scene/point in the story.

This is the problem. They all seem to have weaknesses when it suits the story.

I rate Thor, Deadpool and the hulk as my top 3. Then Ironman.

We need Ash73's opinion for our conclusions to have real authority. biggrin

As much as I enjoy the films and can take my brain out for a couple of hours, it does strain credibility at how useful Black Widow and Hawkeye are in battle sometimes.

Is x men marvel?

Jean Grey (as Phoenix) probably in with a shout. And magneto is a bit ridiculous, much more so than they show in the movies.

Superman, he has pew pew lasers for eyes, can blow a hurricane, can fly, is impregnable to bullets, can go in to space, can turn back time and yet his weakness is a liking for the film a Space Odyssey

I think in the cinema universe, Scarlet Witch is the most powerful we've seen.

Surely the Hulk is the most powerful, as he gets stronger the more angry he gets.....

Hulk first, by a distance, as he has defeated a god in a fight.
Thor
Vision ? Not particularly offensive, but hard to defeat

Hard to rank the rest, Iron Man better than Captain A though, that's for sure

I need to get out my old Top Trumps pack from the 1980's....

From recollection, I'm pretty sure that Galactus kicked everyone's arse - including the angry green fellas'

I would roll my eyes at this thread but the other day I got pulled into reading who's the strongest out of Captain America or Spiderman. Pages and pages of Reddit st and I kind of had a little fun.

Don't tell anyone, though. I don't want anyone in real life to know.

Hulk just smashes stuff, Which granted he is good at. Reality and matter manipulation powers easily trump that.

This is the sort of question my 3 year old nephew asks me and even with him, I roll my eyes.

I would normally just scroll past a thread like this but I'm staggered enough to see it being discussed by adults to post!

The answer is "they are just cartoon characters."

Honestly. >shakes head<

It seems to be a very human comparison to make though. From "my Dad is bigger than your Dad" right through to the internet arguments by keyboard warriors over which Martial Art is the best, I guess even top speed and Nurburgring times- all completely academic and equally as pointless.
