The X-Files is set for a return but in a similar manner to the last series. Don't expect it to be anytime soon.

and the renewed "Legends of Tomorrow". Wentworth Millar has a contract that allows him to float between shows rather than being a regular on Legends
I guess that's the advantage of a time-travel show

For those of use who like The Good Wife, but were disappointed it came to an end after season 7, CBS have announced that a spin-off is scheduled for 2017 and will star Christine Baranski & Cush Jumbo in the lead roles. Other characters featured in TGW will evidently recur within the spin-off and CBS has suggested that the plot will pick up from where TGW ended and focus on Diane.

The bad news however is that, just like the new Star Trek series, it will only be broadcast in the USA on CBS' own "All-Access" streaming service and as a result of it being a streamed only series it's unlikely to be released on DVD unless there is enough demand. There are also no plans, as yet, to syndicate the series overseas via other digital / satellite / terrestrial platforms.

the chances of ST not going onto disc or satellite would (IMO) be slim to non... that being said if they don't provide that option other ways will be found to watch

NCIS is a unstoppable train, this season has been great, the final episode was sad but awesome and closed off some long time unknown questions smile

Now Official, "Limitless" has been dropped and no other Platform is interested. Shame is it was the most imaginative new series for a while.

Agent Carter canceled - As much as I wanted to like this, it never really got going
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. renewed - I'm totally bored with this. It totally lacks the drama of the Netflix Marvel stuff
Once Upon A Time renewed - I watched the first couple of series a few years back but when I caught up with the most current, I forgot about it. Isit worthwhile?
Limitless canceled - I quite enjoyed this but felt it was taking too long to get anywhere
Supergirl renewed to CW - Watched the Pilot. That was enough
Person Of Interest canceled - I really gave this a try but it seemed very repetitive
Elementary renewed - love this. Great writing and acting from JLM
Hawaii Five-0 renewed - I am amazed anyone watches this. It is so "light" in the story dept. I stopped watching after the first season
Blue Bloods renewed - I used to like this but found it harder to get copies of. Might give it another go again
The Big Bang Theory renewed - Contrary to many critics here, I really enjoyed the most-recent series. Sure, it's changed but everyone ages
The 100 renewed - Caught one episode of this and couldn't work out who would watch it.
Sleepy Hollow renewed - Watched the first series but when "yer man" failed to change his clothes, the whole thing started to annoy me. It was same ol' same ol' week-on-week
The X-Files TBD - There was ONE good episode in the recent new series
Minority Report canceled - Yeah, this was rubbish
Lucifer renewed - Love this. Thought it was a bit pants originally but it really picked up towards the end of the series
The Simpsons renewed - What would the world be without The SImpsons?
The Last Man On Earth renewed - I wanted to like this but sadly...
Bones renewed - Crikey, is this still going?
The Blacklist renewed - I saw up to the end of series 2 I think. I need to get the most-recent ones
Blindspot renewed - My wife will be pleased but I am bored with the slow pacing and the mumbling lead man. He sounds like Rocky

CBS confirmed it renewed NCIS (original) for a further 2 seasons to take it into 2018 & season 15.

There are no plans as yet to decide whether it will continue past season 15 or be brought to an end but it's still listed as the top rated drama in the US with an average 20.5 million viewers and is still the most watched drama worldwide based on overall viewing figures, so if that continues it may still have another couple of seasons left.

Given Michael Weatherley has left and Dinozzo was pretty much the heart of the show it's going to have to work pretty hard to make up for his loss. NCIA LA looks like a limping duck at the moment. It tried too hard to distance itself and has paid the price. Weatherly When he turned up at OSP brightened the show. NCIS NOLA also suffers in the shade of it's big brother but at least they have had the sense to integrate themselves into the universe. JAG the show NCIS sprang from was pretty much over shadowed very quickly when NCIS came along. Neither of the two new shows look like doing that. Perhaps bringing back Ziva and Dinozzo to guest appear in a number of episodes across NCIS's various incarnations could do the trick?

Err well they could only bring back Ziva if they really stretched credibility or did it as per the way they do with Mike Franks !
Di Nozo no problem.

Funnily enough I've been catching the odd episode of JAG on CBS and up popped episodes 20 & 21 (Ice Queen & Meltdown) from season 8 which served as the backdoor pilot episode for NCIS. It was weird looking back to the early days and seeing Gibbs & DiNozzo arresting Harm hehe

It also featured Robyn Lively as Agent Blackadder who was dropped in favour of casting Sasha Alexander in the 3rd investigator role when NCIS launched outright. It later dawned on me where I recognised the character of Petty Officer Coates from - a younger Zoe McLellan who currently plays Brody in New Orleans.

Hard to believe how long ago it all started.

No Body has been found hence Dinozzo heading for Israel and Paris. Ziva is very capable of making her own escape after checking Tali was rescued.

I always wonder what happened to the "lost" episode of "JAG". The next season dropped a few characters due to contracts not being renewed in time and Catherine Bell was pushed forward from Murder Victim to Marine JAG. The Character's "resemblance" to the Murdered Navy Officer was used a few times in later episodes.

Essentially NBC dropped JAG and the show and subsequent spin off's ended up on CBS. Bet the NBC executive who did that didn't last long.

After being renewed "Vinyl" on HBO has now after a very late call been cancelled. Well received it's lack of audience seems to have been it's downfall.
