Nor me.
Weren't they meant to be doing a Carry On film about a celebrity limo service? So lots of rubbish cameos no doubt. Carry On London IIRC

It may work. SO long as the feel is right. It's can't hark completely to a time that doesn't exist, but it can't be packed full of current comedian tts, like the lamentable Carry on Columbus.
It needs good actors, not comics who wanna act.

I just saw a segment about this on London Tonight. I'm really not sure how a modern reboot is going to work tbh. The reason the originals were, and still are, funny is because of the smut / innuendo that you could get away with in the time period they were made in.

The other thing raised in the news piece was how they'd go about casting. Evidently it was suggested it could be a combination of well known comedians from around the world and YouTube broadcasters to appeal to the youth generation.

I can just envisage a cringe fest of a who's who of comedians all fighting over who gets to say the least amusing crude one liners.

Now that is exactly the right way to go about making is a big steaming pile of execrable effluent.

See their last outing of Carry On Columbus and that is exactly what is was and I fear this will be exactly the same.
