I like the sound of The Terror, from on a book which is based on Franklin's lost expedition to find the Northwest passage, his ships HMS Terror and HMS Erebus both disappeared along with all the crew, perfectly preserved bodies have been found and recently one of the ships (HMS Erebus) has been found. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Franklin%27s_lost_ex...

No one knew what happened to all of them, was it lead poisoning from the early tinned food, was there cannibalism to survive, was it the locals, bears, or something else.................

Then there's Lethal Weapon and McGyver hehe oh dear.

Son of Zorn - different

West World - will it ever get finished.

The Exorcist - how can they make it last more than a few episodes.....oh right the Sleepy Hollow method.

I'd forgotten/didn't know Crichton wrote Westworld - bit of a repeating theme there wink

I like the idea of 24:Legacy - Someone different doing the CTU thing - Will be a shame if it's JUST a reboot of Jack Bauer's 24 though...

A couple of others in there sound worth a peak at the pilot. Jack Ryan, for example, could be good if Bosch and Man in the High Castle are anything to go on, and The Terror, as mentioned.

I'm amazed no-one's ever made a series of Rainbow Six (I know there's never ending talk of a film). Plenty of potential episodes there. Maybe the idea that killing a few terrorists is all it needs to stop terrorism sounds a bit naive these days?.

Friends tell me American Gods is an essential read, so I'll give that a go. Since Starz is producing.
Heroes And Villains: The History of Comic Books sounds very intriguing.
Son of Zorn...erm, well it's Fox, so I'll give it a whirl
The Terror...AMC...yes! There was a brilliant Marvel baddie called Pestilence, I hope this has elements of that.

I hope Star Trek is a decent series. Enterprise started off with great potential and got boring very quickly.

Powerless could be fun but equally...

Son of Zorn could be fun too, and I think has good potential. I like that they've deliberately made the animation old fashioned. And Jason Suthingummy is usually quite fun.

Westworld - I share the same concerns as everyone else. But if they are taking the time to get it right, hopefully the delays will prove worthwhile.

I have just bought American Gods on Kindle. I've been meaning to for years. The premise is good.

Conviction doesn't have a terribly appealing storyline but they seem to be concentrating on Hayley Atwell's character so might be OK.

If they can get some writers who have a grasp on time travel and keep to consistent "rules" then Timeless could be fun but I always worry that the producers of time-travel series bend their own "rules" to suit story and when that happens I lose interest.

I am looking forward to Star Trek because, well, Star Trek smile

The Lethal Weapon series looks daft, but good.

The Jack Ryan series, I hope, will deliver - I'm a fan of the early stuff and the books are brilliant. I hope we see much of John Clark (Kelly) and perhaps even an spin off for him - Perhaps even a resurrection of the promised "Without Remorse" film....

The Terror might be good….

Excellent novel but TV shows/films have a way of ruining perfectly good stories in order to dumb them down for the average audience… Under the Dome, Jurassic Park and 11/22/63 - I'm looking at you.
