The thing that gets me isn't so much niche fetish antics, more the way so many of us don't ever stop to think about what our "normal" actually is. How much effort is being expended on this forum right now arguing about who is faster out of Hamilton or Rosberg? Watching grown men insulting each other over a situation they have nil influence on every bloody race does make you wonder who is actually making the better use of their time on the planet. Compared to those mocking from the comfort of their armchair, bathed in Sky Sports or whatever reheated sick Britain's Got Talent is spewing forth, I know who I'd rather socialise with to be honest.

I do wonder how this thread would look were the progamme about a mostly lesbian subculture of women who like dressing up in shiny rubber catsuits and playing at being kittens? Dare I suggest the tone would be rather different? Not that there are double standards at play or anything, obviously.
