That Ab Fab film clip was bloody awful too.
Surely you cannot be saying that the BBC... has taken to the steps of marketing and selling its own commercial products ( fully owned financed/ or in part ) - on another BBC prime time TV show.

If Auntie wants to be a commercial enterprise - then it should play by the rule book.
eg. No more licence fee...

Rory's SVR clip is great. I wasn't keen on him to begin with but I have warmed to him, he is very enthusiastic that's for sure.

He makes it, just in time and even gives Norman a ghetto huggy hand shake.

Just in time for the car to get a full clean and polish.

MLB could do the show without CE he just needs a sidekick with a bit more gravitas. With JC and team you knew there was real knowledge and understanding so the jokes and piss takes were backed up with in depth knowledge but IMHO that's missing now.

I think that was the best yet. Evans still hasn't improved though. His bit with the lightweights was ok, but he is still too shouty, and he just doesn't convey any sense of knowledge. His commentary of the stig laps is cringy, he just doesn't know what to say.

MLB is great, proper chuckles at his pieces.

I even liked Harris and Reid's bit this weeks having been a bit Meh at their last couple of efforts.

I have never really liked RRs that much but that Dawn is fking nice.

I watched last night's episode. It was ... alright, better than the first two, anyway.
And then I realised why I wasn't enjoying as much as I'd hoped: it never made be laugh.
Not a snigger or chuckle, let alone a laugh out loud.
Roll on Amazon Prime and the old trio.

I'm seeing the other presenters gaining confidence, but Evans is only starting to grate on me. I still enjoyed the episode, fast forwarded through the guest bit though and, whilst I enjoyed Matt's solo piece on the new Rolls Royce, I found the old vs new bit cringey

I only watch Extra Gear now as there's very ginger content. Last night his constant shouting of don't tell anyone when the Coulthard/Riiciardo content was being shot reminded me of why I can't stand him on TG. On radio I quite like him

What did I least enjoy - Harris bouncing around as if he had an electrode clamped to his testicles. Then there's Evans. He doesn't do himself any favours and balding ginger hair really isn't nice to look at.

What did I most enjoy - Matt LB's presentation of the RR Dawn. He's getting the hang of it and improves week by week. Rory is growing on me too.

Overall - As the credits rolled, O/H said, "That was a long hour." It was too.

Apparently Matt Leblanc has threatened to quit if Evans continues...

IMO he's the best thing about the show and Chris Evans is the worst.

Harris over-egged it a bit this week - and I'm a fan.

Rory and Matt were excellent.

Chris Evans was better than before but still the weakest link.

Has there been any reason as to Matts dislike of Chris? I know he's a bit loud etc but he generally seems to have long standing teams around him

I lost interest without realising halfway through, when it finished i was reading stuff on my iPad and I'm not sure when I picked it up! It's just a boring programme and I'm not an Evans hater,
