Has there been any reason as to Matts dislike of Chris? I know he's a bit loud etc but he generally seems to have long standing teams around him
Has it even been proven to be true? The only place I have seen it is on the Daily Mail and they are famous and blatant at just making stuff up.

As so they have stopped changing the way people watch TV and now they are going back to the usual method of watching it when they are on. Quite amazing how they can swing public behaviors week to week.

FACT.

Most of what I've read about this apparent discontent has been from this thread tbh, that's why I'm questioning the what the problems are (if there are any!)

Harris over-egged it a bit this week - and I'm a fan.

Rory and Matt were excellent.

Chris Evans was better than before but still the weakest link.
Agreed 100%, also about Harris. Seemed like he had one too many coffees.

I liked CE in the lightweight part, it was informative imho.
MLB is great, as was Rory again.

I'm no fan of the Royce Rolls, but MLB almost sold it to me.

Rory's SVR clip is great. I wasn't keen on him to begin with but I have warmed to him, he is very enthusiastic that's for sure.
Just wish he'd stop using "man" as punctuation. Otherwise he's great. He and Harris could easily carry it. The rest are useless.

I disagree, I think Matt Le Blanc was very good in the Rolls Royce piece early in the show because he actually spoke about the car and showed us some if its cool features, he was excellent at that so I'd include him in the team. Bringing Evans in later with his own Rolls just made things worse IMO

It's how the ill-educated, inner city inhabitants, speak.

It's well cool being Ali G innit.

Think it would be a shame if MLB left but long term I think he might prove a fit flat and would prefer CE was kept on board in some form.

Whereas use of the word "cool" marks you out as an older (than 30 or so) person.

Ali G - who uses the words "well cool" and "innit" is certainly over 30.

I am well over 30 and am proud to say I have never used the word "cool" nor given a "thumbs up" nor "high five" to anyone, ever !

smile

Before I'm cast as a boring old fart I have been modifying cars for nearly 30 years, own various toys including supercharged MX5s, RX7s, jet skis and Moto X bikes.

Crikey, the "thumbs up" goes back 50 years to the mid '60s when Norman Vaughan used to present Sunday Night at The London Palladium! Yes I'm old enough to have seen it! hehe

I don't understand the falling asleep comments, or general negativity any more. Episode one was a disaster, but since then its improved- a lot. People used to moan on about how Clarkson May and Hammond just larked about and didn't test the cars anymore. Well yesterday they tested a whole host of cars...it was packed with features on different cars. It was a good mix of cars too, from the lightweight Zenon, to the M2, the super expensive Roller and Jag F type SVR. Something for most tastes I'd have thought.

The new presenters are doing okay. Hammond and May didn't become TV stars overnight.

So in response to all those who are bored, it seems to me they are damned if they do and damned if they don't.
