Is this now called #Crexit??Cue 37 new threads discussing this and/or who will replace him!
MLB could be the lead in the studio for me, with Rory doing reviews on the road cars and new stuff (his Model X piece was great) and Harris doing the race track stuff.
I'd watch that every week for the next decade.

So whatever happens I suspect CE is probably doomed as the whining, petulant ones just can't take things at face value and enjoy. I suspect that too many feel that TV mustn't be cheerful and must reflect the doom and gloom of Eastenders or feel there is a need to vote off a presenter, its sad that TV has got to this!
Well quite! I'm sure that to millions, the Eastenders doom and gloom of Clarkson, Hammond & May was the only thing that made the old show bearable, to be honest.Glad to hear Evans has had enough - Watching the last bit of Extra Gear, with Rory, Matt, Chris H made me think that was the way to go, Chris H actually has the experience of a good range of cars to review a car against, Matt has a really good voice for Sunday evening, and is playing the dry, subtle raised eyebrow, style of humour well Rory has only just begun, but presents well and provides a slightly alternative view with Sabine doing occasional bits like Laguna Seca it could all go well next series
- Apart from the long-lost-brother hugs when they all came in - How weird was that! They work together all week!

The Telegraph is reporting that police are investigating a recent allegation that he groped a woman and exposed himself in the 90's.

Someone else said this, but I can't find it to quote:
1. MLB, CH & RR in the studio
2. SS for the fast laps
3. lose the SIRPRXC
4. Re-introduce the news
5. lose the stig, give the uniform to SS
Personally they could also get some time with Jenson Button but I hope he gets a good seat next year.

Wonder if it was a co-presenter?http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2016/07/04/chris-e...

I enjoyed the last show they defialitly improved each week.
That was the problem though. The first show had to be the very best it could, because that was the one that was guaranteed to have a big audience as everyone who watched the previous TG, were going to tune into this one. Ignoring the studio segments, they chose some very poor features for the first show. Presumably almost everything had already been shot, so why didn't they choose the very best segments for the first show (or even the second)? They lost the majority of their audience at the very start. They could improve the studio segments based on feedback after the first couple of weeks but that only amounts to links and the awful SIARPC, which they kept. Why did they choose to save all the best features for later in the series, when they'd already lost the audience. Odd.
If it's not selling well abroad, I doubt there'll be a second series. 1.9millions viewers doesn't justify the budget.

Production values and attention to detail are not as good as old Top Gear resulting in something that doesn't feel as polished and as joined up somehow.
I have found the production side of things to be currently some of the best in the industry. There has been some fantastically shot scenes. The Aston and Tesla scenes I thought were right up there,if not the best I've ever seen.I come from a sound production background and I've noticed that hasn't been ignored either. Again excellent.
However, I find the over use of animated graphics, highlights and buzzy sound effects (as in the NSX video) to be incredibly annoying.
Overall I have enjoyed Top gear immensely , certainly a flawed gem but it always IMO was.
Lets not mention the M2 review though, absolutely dire.
Cars that have supposed to have been driven to a location and be mid-challenge / mid-review are seen to have condensation coming out of the exhaust suggesting lack of continuity foresight - camera mounts visible in the car suggesting very few takes and that it was done hastily and on the cheap - crew and equipment reflections visible in paint - not the end of the World but something that Wilman would never have allowed to reach the final cut and the difference between an ok production and an outstanding one.

Sounds reasonable albeit I'd happily lose Jordan and SS too - I liked her as a guest on old TG but she doesn't fit with the new guys.1. MLB, CH & RR in the studio

Button could easily replace: The Stig, SS and Jordan.
