Has it been confirmed when the next season starts?

I'm hoping with the rumoured next 2 being just 7 episodes that we'll get one early in the year and the other slightly later in the year to allow for the younger members of the cast to not age so much.

For the most important younger ones (Arya and Bran), that ship has all but sailed hasn't it? Isaac is 17 and Arya is now 19...

I can't think of important younger characters where a year or two will make the difference?

What happened to Lord Karstark?
He got his throat bitten out by Tormund didn't he? It was difficult to identify someone that I'd barely recognise in the middle of that battle, but that was him wasn't it?

Speculation not Spoilers.

Sansa disappoints little finger, reject his marriage proposal.
Varys arrives somewhere, I think Dorne, but what is his plan/reception?
Danny Travels to Westros, but where does she land? I think Dorne.
Red Wedding Revenge plays out, but what happens? Arya, Jon/Sansa or somebody else?
Arya arrives in Westros, but where?
Kingslanding the centre of chaos death and fire, but how?

The Hound and the Brothers what next? a link up with Jon & Sansa looks to be in the offering? How does the hounds presence play out? He tells them about Arya I think. "She's a survivor that one" or similar gives them hope.

If Danny lands in Dorne she will need to go through Martell in Highgarden or Storm's End. We will probably find out if any resistance in House Baratheon still exists. Tommen is nominally Baratheon but his authority could easily be titular, given the widespread rumours of parentage.

I expect Jamie will withdrawn Lannister Troops south and position them strategically as before holding the centre to intercept intrusion from North or South.

I see two ways Riverrun might unfold, the obvious one is Jon takes it, perhaps by stealth with Freefolk and frees Edmure Tully from Lannister house arrest. Though perhaps Edmure might enact the Red Wedding Revenge by intrigue despite his house arrest. Remember he has a son now so this will be strong motivation to do something. I'm assuming house arrest not dungeon given Jamie's more honorable behavior toward him.
