I don't understand how people know the head Walker is called Night's King.
Sam read it in a book? Legendary stories?

Interesting that LIttlefinger reveals his true desire (in the show at least), he actually does want the Iron Throne....he'll cause some trouble before he's done. biggrin
I think that was possibly the biggest reveal of the episode. Whilst bloody awesome, pretty much everything else (Tommen's method of death excepted) that happened was predicted in here. Doesn't diminish how enjoyable it was to watch however.

Littlefinger will not accept this, wonder what his move will be.

Best EP10 ever!

Loved the whole KL bit with the music. Poor Tommen.

Cersei has deffo alienated Jamie and gone full mental.

Loved Aryas bit and the difference between Walder and Jamie- one doesn't care what people say, the other truly did want to be honorable once and is just damned.

If Arya is doing her list I wonder if she'll hit the brotherhood or Cersei first.

Wonder what Peytr will do now? I did wonder at why baby Stark was implied rather than explicit. She said that Robert would kill him, so if not Targaryen than what?

I cant decide if cersei was perfect or a little too pantomime villan with the outfit, but she's toast- Dany is going to be overwhelming! Knew that Nun was going to end badly from when Cersei first issued her threat though!

Thought Marg died well enough. Another bunch of long term characters dead!

I thought Marg had some trick up her sleeve, they seemed to be hinting her conversion was all a sham

Great episode and I've been biting my tongue (or typing finger) all day as I watched it live last night on HBO.

Highlights of a great episode for me,

The scenes of Cersi dispatching her enemies reminded me of the end of The Godfather when Michael Corleone attends a baptism whilst his men are out causing mayhem.

Cersi knew she had lost Tommen. Even though the Mountainator stopped him from going to Baelors Sept, she didn't seem that cut up about his suicide.

Septa Unella. Oh dear. Waterboarded (or wineboarded) then given to the Mountain to play with.

Lady Olenna. Superb, as was Mini Mormont. Hope they get a scene together.

Bronn & Jaimie. Another brilliant GOT double act.

Ayra serving up the Frey boys in a pie to Walder. Mental.

Shouldn't it be King in t'North though? silly

Well obviously Jon is Lyanna and Rhaegar's son not Ned Stark's. Ned was an honourable man and would never father a child with another woman but would keep his promise to Lyanna and make out he is the father. Jon has been named King off the back of being Ned's son, which he isn't, so that might go a bit tits up later. Jon will also now be Daenery's nephew so that might rule out the Jon/Daenerys marriage some have thought, or would it #crazyinterbreedingtargaryens

He's the legitimate heir, nothing else matters now.

Wasn't it clear by the pimp squeak girl, that he is king due to his actions not his heritage.
I think it won't change him being king. Maybe his sis in the south and him in the north is the only way to defeat the winter people.

He's the rightful king by both then...

Ned WAS the honorable man we all thought, even let his wife think he was unfaithful to keep a promise despite years of hatred.

Most enjoyable.
"They weren't easy to carve" rofl
Evil queen Cersei was just right I thought; as was danni's coldness towards loverboy.

That was superb.

Best episode of the season, one of the best episodes full stop. It's like they saved 9 episodes of awesome and combined it all in to one.

From the moment Stannis said 'that wasn't Ned Stark's way' I knew for sure.

Excellent finish - One thing I didn't get was why the 'little birds' were so keen to hack up the Meister en masse?

Very good episode, if not the best one.

Only thing that has me confused though, anyone else think they're all a bit quick to proclaim him the King in the North? The whole bd thing is pretty ingrained into their culture, just surprised they'd even think to name him King, especially with Sansa sitting right next to him.

I bet Gendry was hiding under the sept, "no one will find me down here"

Yes Gendry. They certainly won't find you now.

I thought that was a little clunky, but figured they had to rush it to get it in.

I also thought the Arya-Stabbed-in-gut thing was shown up again by Lancel dropping from a single would. Though I liked that the kid checked his handiwork. Cersei is basically going to be Ramsay incarnate but she's doomed- Vale and north to the, um, north. Dorne and Targaryens from, presumably, the south plus Tyrells. Dooom!

I wonder if Littlefinger will now take Sansas head south to Cersei and be proclaimed Warden of the North. Ser breastplate might have something to say about that, I guess.

Did you really want 10mins of precious screen time wasted on him standing on a boat crossing the narrow sea twice.

Jesus, that was rather good, the whole thing excudes quality, the attention to detail is mind blowing, as they were all pledging at the end, the snow in the window was so foreboding.

Cersei was basically, briefly Marsellus Wallace from Pulp Fiction,

im going to call me a couple of hard pipe hittin niggaz to go to work on the holmes here with a pair of pliers and a blowtorch biggrin

Its the only thing, and it is quite hard to explain, that has given me the total escapism and immersion into something like playing video games back then, not sure if that conveys it.
