None and Jon got burnt in the 1st series saving mormont from the wights.

Probably not advisable to try a danny
The heat resistance thing is interesting.
Martin says the funeral pyre was a one-off. The show has Danni doing this trick twice, and therefore maybe, invulnerable, or at least with an ability to survive.

Not only that Danys brother was killed with hot gold. Think she maybe a one off.

I think the show use that as an example how he was not a true dragon, and didn't have the genetic 'gifts'. Most Targaryans who tried that trick died a horrible fiery death. biggrin

Daenrys has:
Her fleet, Dothraki, Unsulled, Ironborn, Dorne and Tyrell, she possibly could have the North as well if the Sansa/Theon friendship holds out, perhaps a visit by her husband as emissary...awkward moment.

Cersei has:
Lanister army, what's left of the Freys and possibly Euron Greyjoy if he wants to be King to Queen Cersei instead.

Looks very one sided for it to go wrong for Daenerys which to me sounds like the threat from beyond the wall will be significant, but then what will destroy the wall to allow the dead to pass south? Big whoopsie from Drogon melting it, Night King magic, Melisendre revenge magic?

Indeed, the combined armies of mostly unaffected Reach and totally unaffected Dorne are just too big, they way out number anyone left.

I reckon we'll see the Iron-Born turn, and steal a dragon, or Varys pull a fast one.

It's pretty clear that Branflake broke the magic that had kept the place under the tree safe from the Walkers for millennia, and that the catalyst was definitely Bran himself; it stands to reason that he'll unwittingly do the same thing with the magic protecting the Wall. Maybe even by just passing through it he'll compromise it.

Do we think Cersei realises she's responsible for Tommen's death?

After all, if she hadn't repurposed the Mountain for vengeance instead of continuing to protect Tommen, he would have been able to prevent Tommen's suicide...

D&D seem to imply in a recent interview that every time Cersei has chosen revenge she's lost someone she loves.

Just pondering,

How many kingdoms will Danny rule after all of this.. given the ones she already holds in and the new alliances she's made in Dorne etc

To be replaced by what? we are not seeing a French or American style popular revolution, so a pure Republic seems unlikely.

The new model for the Bay of Dragons is tending towards democratic monarchy, probably doesn't currently qualify as constitutional Monarchy but certainly appears to be on the way to that. Perhaps Danny having Tyrion write a people's charter/bill of rights might be on the cards.

For good chuckle imagine a political marriage between Robin and one of the Sand Snakes. smile

Difficult to say, in the books we encounter elections in Volantis, and in the show there's that council in Qarth.

Difficult to see where the show will go, I think we'll see it in the books.

Yep.

Attention to detail on the opening credits has always been a strong point. It's an excellent idea for breaking in new viewers and hinting at the story line

While I agree if does look one sided, what if LF adds his knights to defend kings landing (perhaps with the intent to betray). That's 45,000 banner knights from him alone, plus the lanister army? Knocking on for 55-60,000. That's a fairly decent army to hold KL surely?

She already has a sizable business card. she will need a mahoosive one to get any more than this on

Daenerys Stormborn of the House Targaryen, First of her name, the Unburnt, Queen of Meereen, Queen of the Andals, and the Rhoynar, and the First Men, Khaleesi of the Great Grass Sea, Breaker of Chains, and Mother of Dragons

I assume the 1000's of Dothraki are actually just there to carry her huge business cards. Each series would have been one episode shorter if her name and title hadn't been announced a couple of time.

A region can't put it's full force into the field, the North put in around half for the war of thew five kings, a lot are needed for home defence and duties.
Plus the Lannisters have lost a lot from continuous fighting, Jaime had 8k? I know there are more, but to break a siege a show was needed and I reckon it was the rump of their forces. The Freys will be in civil war now and the Riverlands hate the Lannisters.
Though I'm sure we haven't seen the last of Littlefinger's scheming at least.

Will we even see a another major human war?

No

Her reaction to Tommen was strange
I think she wrote Tommen off when he sided with the High Sparrow and stcanned her. She's turned inwards on herself.
It was because of the prophecy she was given as a child... that she would see all her children die. So, she knew it was going to happen I guess.
