Preston pointed out a possible goof in the ep where Mormont talks to Sansa, it sounds like Sandra. biggrin
Who the fk is Preston?
Rumour has it that Preston was the one that persuaded Sandra that the turtle incident in Magaluf was a good idea. It's not for me to say, though...

Preston has been a joke since he walked out of Never Mind The Buzzcocks that time.

Shouldn't it be Jon Sand now since he was born in Dorne not the North?

Not seen any suggestions where Brienne and Podrick will fit into the scheme of things.

Where were they headed when they rowed off into the night, I forget.

Surely they'll bump into Gendry rowing in the opposite direction?

Not sure about Gendry, but seems the rest are in the riverlands along with the Brotherhood & the Hounds, also isn't this where Arya direwolf was last seen.

As for Arya vs the Mountain, I'm hoping she will warg in Nymeria. All the advantages of a close up kill with massively reduced risk, perhaps it will even cost her Nymeria, making it a bitter-sweet moment of reflection.

we've talked about this since watching last ep last night which was terrific.

a few suggestions we've considered all conjecture of course

1. tyrion is storm born and tywin took him as his own but was in fact th emad kings' son

2. now that we know jon snow was lianas' and ned took him as his that jon is now a rightful heir to the throne being roberts' son.

3. bran therefore has a right to winterfell and bran knows jon is roberts' son - possibly so does benjen but not sure what his future role is

4. armies will converge but then unite to fight the white walkers and deanerys will lose her dragons fighting the white walkers but in victory and claim the throne.

5. the squire is roberts' and is an heir to the throne but is younger than jon

6 could all be bks

hehe

one thing is certain is that cersei is the queen bh from hell and now has no children so has zero conscience left if she ever had any....

superb series anyway

If Jon was Robert's son Robert would have loved him like no other being the son of his true love and wouldn't want him dead. He's Rhaegar's son.

so liana had jon in secret so as not to upset robert?

Lyanna had run away with Rhaegar to the tower of joy, Rhaegar got called back to the battle and was killed by Robert.

Do we know for sure who ordered the murder of Roberts bds? The fact that it happened means that someone must at least suspect they'd have a claim to Robert's throne. Gendry must have a role or he'd have been killed by now, but birthright or not I can't see him ever being king. He's an amalgam of Roberts bds from the books isn't he?

Cersei, she'd know all about the other women.

This is why despite King's Landing being attacked, and the heir to the throne fighting and losing his life, the Captain of the Kingsguard and the best fighter in Westeros were at the Tower of Joy supposedly guarding a weak, female hostage...

If you listen really carefully, you hear her say to Ned that Robert will kill him if he finds out the truth.

Also, she knows she didn't get them all, Maggie the witch said iirc 20, but only 6 or 7 have been killed. I don't think many are likely to emerge, they are only safe from her because they are unknown at court.

Remember when Robert Baratheon is talking to Ser Barriston Selmy about their first kills, Robert says it was some Tarly boy. I wonder if after the battle he had his way with Mrs Tarly... biggrin

Might explain Randyll's hatred for Sam, suspicions he is not his own blood.

I mean come on, why the hell is he still alive if not to be a pivotal character. wink

Interesting idea, except Roberts only defeat was at the hands of Sam's Father.
