Though Little Miss Precocious - Sorry Lady Mormont - was the rallying cry there, and her basis was 'Ned Starks blood runs through his veins'.
Stark blood still runs through his veins, but instead of it being Ned's and some Wildling's it's Lyanna Stark's and Rhaegar Targaryen's.motorizer said:
I enjoy watching Matt Easton's reviews of the fights and battles on youtube, he's a military historian and martial arts teacher so he has a good insight into what's plausible, lots of constructive criticism.
His main gripe with game of thrones is people not wearing helmets or using shields...
Interestingly he comes up with a couple of ways out of the shield wall encirclement

I've been wanting to find a new set of youtube videos since I have watched all of Preston's and Alt shift X's videos. Emergency Awesome is good, but he's more of a reviewer than a theory guy, and he has a basic knowldge of the story. Though he is still very watcheable.
What makes me wonder sometimes is how utterly supreme these youtubers are over the utter wk that the telly vomits up.
I did watch Sean L's reaction videos from the Burlington Bar in Chicago, only because on one of them during Ramsay's "I am Lord Bolton" bit with his step-mum and half brother and the dogs there's a single "yeah" clap clap from one man which made me laugh - https://youtu.be/kzTJJsELfRI?t=472

Read Bernard Cornawall's 'The Last Kindom'. Much better visuals than GOT!
BTW.. don't watch the BBC series of the same name... it's nt a patch on the original

Finally, Ramsey had ample chance to finish Snow, the last of which is when they breach the gates. Instead of this, he finishes off an already dying Wun Wun - if he had time to draw, aim and kill him, why not Jon Snow?
I think Ramsey thought he still had the upper hand, bow and arrow vs sword at 50 paces. He misjudged because he didn't consider Jon grabbing the shield. It was entirely consistent with his character I thought. He might have regard Wun Wun as threat, but I think he killed the giant first to inflict anguish on Jon and likely expected to be able to kill Jon in charge.
