I must be a little sad, as I bought the soundtrack on vinyl!

You're not sad until you have the Light of the Seven playing as you are getting ready in the morning.

Claims that next season launch will be later as "winter is here" in the plot arc, so having to wait for lousy weather for filming. OK, but thought it was all smoke and mirrors these days on the sets. Or was it just a slow news day so they made up some bollards?
Possibly, but they haven't cast any roles yet either...might be true.

That's be bliss compared to the slow refrain of the Rains of Castermere...

I know, but remembering the Hobbit movie... Of course it just being hobbits might skew the scale but TV Show vs Movie (ignoring the books), Smaug seems a magnitude of size bigger. Especially considering some of these charts are made based on a S05 Drogon!

And, as I mentioned S05 vs S06 drogon:
Drogon - S05

Drogon - S06

Not 100% sure but looked like there was a bit of activity at the white wall set yesterday.

Who made that scale up? There's a man on Balerion's back for a scale reference.

Good spot.
And that probably puts Drogon at almost the same sort of size as Balerion.

What a cool comparison, reminds me of those starship comparisons. biggrin

Drogon has been on the weetabix hasn't he?!
Most people have Ancalagon as way bigger than Smaug. I've not seen the third Hobbit film, but he looks pretty big from a meme I saw on fb this week.

thumbup

It seems there is much speculation about the size of Ancalagon as Tolkien never detailed it. However Tolkien's mythos has him as by far the largest dragon, and there is a comment in the Silmarillion about three mountain peaks being broken by his fall when he was killed.

I also found this graphic, which makes him look rather large...

That's a good one, I love how they upped him even more in this one.
Like the sun dragon from The Iron Man.
