Just to keep it off topic a while longer, you have forgotten the greatest.

Andre the Giant.

I did think of Andre, he's pretty darn good inn two films, I didn't think that warranted a mention, even though he was my fave.

Andre on the right, Wilt Chamberlain on the left. Arnie is the midget in the middle.

You'd swear that was fake if you didn't know anything about the men.

Where does that come from because my mobile imdb and desktop (chrome) imdb do not show any dates for 2017.

The writing task became far more complicated once they were past the books, so IMO they should give themselves all the time they need.

S5 & S6 were very hit and miss in terms of writing quality.

Sky Atlantic have GoT on again from the begining, just got the first episode on and I notice the 3 rangers at the very start all have shields on their horses. I'm pretty sure I have never seen a Nights Watch use a shield in any episode.

Pilot info says "A few brief shots during the Prologue scene, when the Night's Watch rangers are fleeing from the White Walkers through the forest, were retained for the pilot." So the early scenes on horseback are not from the pilot. - http://gameofthrones.wikia.com/wiki/Pilot_episode

There's another in the background early on when Jon is training.

Then they just seem to disappear.

Not just the NW, shields are prevalent with everyone...and then all of a sudden, it's a shield shortage across Westeros!!
My money's on Littlefinger, the snide lil shield hoarder!

Anyone see The Moorside the other night, about the "abduction" of Shannon Matthews? Watched it without twigging for a second:
