A little gem of a programme, just been on Channel 4 about some recently discovered films of British troops sending messages home to loved ones from Burma/India in WW11. They all put on good show for the cameras about how everything's fine, but I couldn't help notice how skinny they looked around the waist, no doubt due to poor food disease and generally crap conditions. Well worth a look, with no shouty, ginger presenter in sight.

I used to live next door to one of the soldiers featured. A really interesting program, even the Mrs wanted to watch it once we knew Ken was in it.

Was great, loved the accents and the fake posh 'telephone voices'. Lots of 'just to let every one know, I am in the pink' that saying has all but gone now.

Was touched with the ending and how many had not made it home, so young.

As per previous, I would watch more of these.
