I think the vast majority of people want Evans out but there is a lot more to do for the required reinvention.

My first suggestion is sack the stig- that joke got old a long time ago- and replace with Harris who can comment on the laptime. Have extended track tests with Harris with more technical details on ExtraGear. Sabine to stand in for Chris when required.

Star in a reasonably priced car- old format if it has to stay, 5-10mins max, maybe a Golf R on track for higher speed laps but in a car everyone can relate to, 1 guest almost always, Rory &/or MLB to interview. Don't have an extra interview in ExtraGear unless there is someone for car geeks but not entertainment. Having a Chris Harris on cars style walk around a car would be great on ExtraGear however. Actually an extended online version with ExtraGear edited in would be great but wouldn't happen for ratings reasons?

The odd challenge is OK but keep some point to them and easy on the number in a series and the pointless celebrities too please.

Presenting wise MLB, Harris, Rory and (in a step back role from the other 3) Sabine would be my current preference. Eddie Jordan adds nothing IMO.

Is this different enough to the main TG thread to avoid moving and drowning in all the winging mods?

Just stop trying to be the old TG. To Chris Evans, imagine you'd never seen a car programme on TV, what would you do?

Haven't enough suggestions been made in the two other threads?

Who cares? If it's got Evans in, I won't watch it.

Dump Evans, start again.
