It doesn't matter really, we will still get a fourth and probably fifth film.

Forgot to mention seeing this. Was happily surprised to find it much better than I was expecting. As mentioned the only bits I didn't like were the weak background of the antagonist and the way they defeated the swarm, while amusing and entertaining, stuck me as so unlikely as to effect my suspension of disbelief.

Also found Uhura a little too kickass given how strong the baddies appeared at various points.

Still enjoyable, 6.5or7 from me, but I just like Trek. I also thought Simon Pegg was better than in the previous films. It might just be him aging, but it's the first time I saw him as Scotty and not Simon Pegg.
