Love Ghibli stuff! Have you seen The Wind Rises?
Yes, really nicely made but wasn't my favourite to be honest. I prefer the whimsical/weird stuff!
Wind Rises isn't as whimsical as the others granted but it's a beautiful film.

For all Ghibli fans I can heartily recommend The Kingdom of Dreams and Madness which is a documentary following Miyazaki and his team while they were making Wind Rises. Really good insight into their fairly unique methods thumbup

That made me laugh

In fairness to the OP, which I didn't realise when I originally posted, he lives in the US, where the situation is rather different. In the UK a general release does tend to mean (even on a small release) that the coverage is good and just about anyone can see the film. In the US I think a general release could be in as many or less cinemas than it would get in the UK! Depending on the push it gets from the distributor.

The UK has a handful of national chains.
