As title really. I loved the first two, I can honestly say it's far and away the best tv I've seen in years. I thought I heard it would have a return. ears

I hope so. I had heard talk a third was a possibility but that's it.

Apparently there is a new series in the can, but airing dates are yet to be announced. I don`t think I`ve met anyone who`s seen it. It was very deserving of it`s awards IMO, but I suppose you can have too much of a good thing. I hope the new series keeps the scale small and parochial, that`s its greatest charm for me.

Delightful program.

Wished I lived where it's filmed, as it's always sunny there.

You'll need to move to the Orford and Framlingham area of Suffolk then.

The OH & I were recently introduced to this by a friend and we love it. For his birthday last week, the friend bought him the second series in DVD and we've watched the first few episodes... I have my theories so shhhhh!!!! Spoiler tags please lol

I can't help but kill myself laughing when I see Simon Farnaby (Horrible Histories fan too) & Pearce Quigley is brilliant as Russell or David Stearne as Bishop & his imaginary dogs!

It's so brilliantly written. My mum was an archaeologist and part of rescue teams who went in to building sites etc if anything was discovered and let me tell you the people portrayed are pretty damn accurate laugh

Is the one tonight new, or a repeat?

I'm getting conflicting information so am recording it just in case.

Looks like it is a repeat of the second series at a guess. The third series isn't due to air until later this year.
