Couldn't see a thread for this so thought I'd start one.
Anyone else watched it ?
We watched the final one last night (8 short 15 min episodes in total), I'm not quite sure of what i made of it.
It was interesting and easy to watch in small chunks but I couldn't get my head round why these two journalists thought they could shed any new light onto something that happened 20 years ago and that the police had hit a brick wall with. You got the impression that anyone who did have any info on it was either never going to let it be known or was ridiculously unreliable anyway.
And what was that all about when they attempted to interview one of the key witnesses (Daniel Spence) on the street in Brixton, stopping him in broad daylight, shoving a camera in his face and shouting questions at him was never going to have the right effect, no wonder he cycled off looking scared stiff.
I think I'd have felt quite embarrassed if I was one of those journalists after 3 months having to explain that actually they had discovered nothing of any use.

They did discount that as they reckoned with tide charts etc that he would have been washed up at some point.
But it's still a possibility and something they hardly even touched on, possibly because it's not as 'exciting' as a potential murder by the local drug dealer.

Indeed. Although the show was called 'Unsolved' rather than 'Solved'.

They seemed to track down all the 'suspects' but were they expecting them to fess-up?

But an interesting show/series none the less.

A bit amateur and ghost watch. Looking for a body in the dark with flash lights lol.

Why not a proper daytime search?

Felt like a daily mail production.

Yeah, noted the conversation with the harbour master - "what the sea takes, it returns"

But for me it's still the most conceivable option.
