Car Hire, 24 years old, 400 miles (each way)

Hello Everyone,

Currently planning a 400 mile trip (one way) on a route thats gonna be taking 6 - 7 hours.
I currently have a car that is not great on the motorway and fancied hiring something for the trip.

Anyone got any suggestions on companies, places to hire without raping my bank account?
Ideally it would be something reasonably comfy and auto or with cruise control, but i'd put up with something that wasn't as good on motorways if it were more fun on the twisties (the destination is a fun place to drive!)

Check out a few comparison sites. You'll be paying a premium for being under 25 unfortunately.
