Bit stupid keeping Anastacia in like that, regardless of a dance off why not just let the judges make their choice based on what they've seen (although they'd keep her in anyway given their sympathy marks for the model last week)?

Melvin was the worst but they could have got rid of Anastacia anyway simply because she was injured. If it's as she described, how is she supposed to train and dance next week, surely it's not going to heal that quickly? Unless of course Brendan's planning on doing Riverdance next week I suppose.

I think, all things considered, it might have been better if Anastasia had simply retired gracefully. She was clearly extremely concerned about her injury; she tore the scar tissue from her mastectomy, which would have been extremely traumatic for her. I would not imagine that will heal very quickly either, which is going to compromise her dancing for the foreseeable future.

they could have just held over an elimination to next week and had two?

it was handled well in terms of information about the injury until after the voting had closed - in terms of specifics - i think she showed some humility in it all.

i feel more sorry for jeanette...

Naga looks awesome with that hair....
... but on morning TV her high pitched shrieking voice grates & she always has to say something however banal as if scared nobody will notice she's there. Now I wonder why.

Looking to get 2 tickets for the Blackpool Strictly.
Where should I look ?

Thanks
You have virtually no chance. I've applied every year for every show and still not got them.

After the last few outfits she has worn it is a massive improvement from the fleeting glimpses.

Danny is too good for week 3 to have never danced before.

His actor training at a performing Arts school has given him an advantage.....IMO.

I'm slightly time delayed here due to a roast dinner related disaster.

Oti looked amazing tonight and I really enjoyed that Paso. It was hard to tell who was the contestant and who was the professional dancer.

Len really didn't like being talked back to by Will Young, did he. Even though Will was quite humble and respectful.

I thought Will's allusion to Pop Idol was quite amusing.

I only caught the end of that. What did will say that pissed him off.

Len: “I loved the dance, it was entertaining, it was fun, but it was a Salsa and I would’ve liked a soupçon more of the Salsa, and I got about seven or eight bars in the middle.”

Will: “There are 24 counts of eight of Salsa in the routine.”

The foul-mouthed hooligan!

Len: “It’s very nice of you to say that to me Will, but I must say, most of them I didn’t recognise, so it’s probably my fault. My other little bit of advice is turn up, keep up and shut up. It’s only a joke.”

"only a joke" added very hastily as Len realised what an utter twunt he sounded like.

And then Will said it had worked for him before 20-odd years ago.

Frankly, after you've been up again Simon Cowbell I'd imagine that Len is no great shakes

Edit: bloody Android autocorrect. But I think I will leave that as it is. LOL

A great 'Movie' night and difficult to think who might go out this week.
That was a quick glimpse of the scoreboard.

I missed the "only a joke bit".

Len does seem a bit grumpy sometimes.

Loving the autocorrect.
