Totally agree, Danny is such a ringer. He’s already at professional dancing level, which is not surprising as that is what he has trained to be. He’s way better than any of the others but I hope he doesn’t win. There are so many dull contestants this time, it’s taken all the fun out of it. Tameka and Laura were boring, but then so were Will, Daisy, Naga and Anastacia. I hope it gets more interesting later on.

Does make you wonder. If it is that's a bit st for Will. Hopefully it's not a bereavement or anything though as that's a shame for him.

I wonder how they will work the rest of the series going forward? I guess they'll now either have one week where there is no elimination / dance off or there will be one less couple going into the semi final / final show.

There must be a very genuine reason for Will leaving as all the contestants will have agreed contracts to do the show that wouldn't just allow someone to walk away without a valid reason. Although I see various crappy tabloid / online sources are already saying it's purely down to the spat with Len rolleyes I highly doubt that as it wasn't even a major argument / fallout and over the years people like Brendan, James & Ola Jordan, etc, have all had far more aggressive / public disputes with the judges, etc.

Shame they can't get Tameka back to fill the newly vacated space but I doubt they'd be able to sell that tbh.

I suspect it means the inability to take criticism and a big gay hissy fit.

Shame, he was doing OK.

Think that's about it. Poor sensitive thing.

He has a reasonably well documented history of mental health issues including rehabtype stuff etc I think.

So it's just possible it's related to that and not just a gay hissy fit.

The whole "argument" with Len wasn't even an argument anyway! Will just respectfully disagreed with Len and countered Len's opinion with his own, then when Len made his "ha ha just joking" put down, Will didn't really rise to it. And Will's head was deferentially bowed the whole time and he was softly spoken. I hardly see that as an argument, nor a hissy fit. A hissy fit would have been full on head-held-high confrontational sass.

Clearly the media want to make it about this, but it so clearly isn't.

I suspect a mental health related issue here.

perhaps on reflection and repeated viewing of that incident it might have brought back something for him.

I say incident, it might have seemed like a non incident to us but we'll probably never know what that felt like for him. then again it might be completely unrelated.

I feel for Karen - I wonder if she will have a big heterosexual hissy fit....

if his head wasn't in the right place he shouldn't have signed up.
So you've never attempted anything in your life that you weren't 100% sure of success on then? You've never found yourself in the situation of being totally sure of something but then subsequently proved wrong?

Maybe he thought he was totally fine and totally up for it when he signed up, and he's had the crushing realisation that he's not.

I don't think I've ever given up that easily, no. I would be ashamed if I did. It's not just about his 15 minutes, it's Karen's career.
Fair enough. You obviously know far more about the situation than I do.

Quite agree. He's done himself no favours by pulling out, it could even be a career damaging move.

Obviously we have no definite reason but if it is related to his depression what you've stated there is pretty bloody stupid and you obviously have absolutely no idea how a mental illness such as that can affect the mind. You can easily be in a good place and then something will trigger a very bad depressive episode.
That said, as already stated we don't know if it is that or just a big hissy fit...

Anyway, isn't it about time you did your usual thread "flounce announce", or do we have to put up with you for another week or so?

That doesn't actually say that. Uses a lot of "its reported that..." and "apparently..."

And for some reason, the Telegraph is just using the story from The Mirror anyway.
