Claudia brilliant tonight, the rest have been crap.
Things are always so black and white with you, aren't they. Anything that aligns with your opinion is fantastic, and anything that does not is dismissed out of hand along with anyone who disagrees with you.I'm not sure how anyone can dismiss all the other dances as "crap", particularly Louise's, yet you seem to be able to.
Didn't think Danny was that brilliant tonight. The routine was a bit dull and I like my tango more dramatic and staccato I think.
Rinder was ropey, way over the top with the gurning.
Louises routine was great and had a great fun musical yee-haw vibe.
Claudia was amazing for the first half but the lifts weren't that smooth and as usual they got catried away and stopped dancing so they could do some gymnastics.
Ore was alright.
Will be amazed if Rinder isn't going h ok me later.

I really honestly do not think he does it on purpose. Japveesix said:

Did anyone notice that AJ almost dropped Claudia on the very final lift? Well, perhaps I'm being over-dramatic but it was not a clean catch and he staggered slightly. ClockworkCupcake said:

Wasn't this what Bruno commented on? He pointed out an error that AJ made and said he wouldn't hold it against Claudia in the scoring.Nom de ploom said:
I can't warm to claudia.
her dancing looks stompy and aggresive, she is clearly very strong and has a range of movement way beyond most of us but that in itself is no reason to sacrifice style and the proper steps.
it was judges' time to go but I'd realyl like to see Ore in the final.
Not watched a lot of this series, but I'd agree with that assessment of Claudia.her dancing looks stompy and aggresive, she is clearly very strong and has a range of movement way beyond most of us but that in itself is no reason to sacrifice style and the proper steps.

Have I missed something, how did they overcome Will Young stepping down. Is there normally a double eviction that's been dropped as we are going to end up with 3 dancers in the final as always.
The last couple of shows have been about 10 minutes shorter, than this time last year, to account for his absence. This weekend however they filled the time by extending the intro & middle segment routines that the pro dancers took part in.Looking at the Radio Times TV listing for the Strictly final this year, the show runs uninterrupted from 6.40PM to 9PM rather than being split into 2 parts, like previous years, suggesting they might have dropped the 3rd place elimination they used to have at the end of part 1 and instead just have the remaining 3 couples dancing for 1st prize.
There's also a write up saying that the final will feature the pro dancers taking part in a special extended dance routine in honour of Len Goodman that celebrates his lifetime around dance as well as his time on Strictly (and US version Dancing With The Stars) before he retires after the final. My guess is that fills the time when the public will be asked to vote for the winning couple.
