Thought it was a good show and good to hear some V8 sounds, not to sure about the drag race though seemed a bit of a set up as done on TG. Leno and Tim Allen are two real car nuts with nothing to prove,

Enjoyed that, surprised by his drag car run seemed pretty close to your girls run.
That's gotta be a fix.

I've just watched the first one, enjoyed it more than I thought I would. I also thought it a bit weird Tim Allen had an RS200 along with the other stuff. Some junky bits to jump over, but overall well worth watching.

Wednesday 8:05pm according to my Sky planner. The more I see of this the more I enjoy it. Perhaps the BBC could get him to host TG?

Second show just as enjoyable as the first. I can forgive the budget production values (and the dodgy editing to make it fit the timeslot with fewer ad-breaks) as the content is bob-on.

Car-culture heaven!

Not sure they can either afford him or that he'd want to do it. Earning a decent whack just doing what he's doing.

I watched the second one a couple of days ago, a bit more for me to jump over (not interested in motorbikes) but generally very watchable. Did wonder why they used a clip of a British motorway when he was doing the piece on the Ridge Route, though.

I'm really enjoying this, whilst I'm sure part of it is scripted he comes across as really knowing his stuff. And the trip into the basement of the Petersen - wow! The McQueen XKSS...

Leno actually drove that XKSS a while back.

If anyone has not watched Leno's youtube channel it's well worth checking out as although I like this new TV program the youtube channel content is much better. Its much more in depth.

Love the YouTube channel, the superb RX3 seen during the jdm part in ep2 has it's own episode.

Could you ever imagine Top Gear dedicating 15/20 minutes to a car like this?

3 shows in and yes the best car show ever.

I guessed wrongly the biggest appreciator in value of those 3 classics.

I'm sure Hennessey didn't fiddle with Mustang overnight either, 194mph on the rolling road with no wind resistance and the next morning it does 207.9mph on the open road!

Agreed. Its a nice mix of features and seems very fresh. Its certainly cured my sunday night TG withdrawal symptoms.
