I thought it was alright having lost control of the remote to SWMBO. Slightly bemused by the lack of ears that advisor bloke didn't have

I'd say this was Downton Abbey with additional Dr Who content. As such, disappointing.

Agree on soaps. Period dramas - there are some crackers, such as Peaky Blinders.

Well I must be a daft bint then, as I am really enjoying this. It's everything that Sunday evening TV should be, a good period drama...

I enjoyed the first couple of episodes but stopped watching when it went all 'Mills & Boon'.
